Karbonn Mobiles has launched Titanium S9 smartphone in India with featuring a 5.5-inch HD IPS display. The all new Karbonn Titanium S9 will be available in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs.19,990. The Titanium S9 comes with the latest Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system out of the box.
On launching the Titanium S9, Shashin Devsare, Executive Director, Karbonn said;

Karbonn Titanium S9 is powered by a MediaTek chipset with a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone has 16GB internal storage along with a microSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB. In terms of connectivity, the Titanium S9 has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, A-GPS and a microUSB port. The smartphone supports dual-SIM capability and there is 3G data network support.
The Titanium S9 features a 13-megapixel camera with an auto-focus sensor, a 5-megapixel camera is available on the front for VoIP support. The smartphone packs with a 2600mAh battery and there are several sensors as Gravity sensor, Proximity sensor and an Ambient light sensor. To persuade the consumers, Karbonn is also providing a flip cover inside the box.

In a tough competition, Micromax is also coming up with its Canvas 4 on July 8 to compete the new Karbonn smartphone. Micromax Canvas 4 is expected to have a cheaper price tag than the newly launched Karbonn Titanium S9.
