Karbonn Titanium MachFive with quad-core chip launched for Rs. 5,999

Karbonn today announced the launch of the Titanium MachFive in India. This new smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs. 5,999 and is designed to compete against the recently launched Micromax Canvas Xpress 2.

The Karbonn Titanium MachFive features a 5-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage along with microSD card support for expansion up to 32GB.

Karbonn has provided Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system on the Titanium MachFive with a proprietary skin on top. The smartphone has an 8-megapixel rear camera sensor along with an LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera sensor. The front-facing camera sensor also has an LED flash to brighten shots under dark.

In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and a microUSB port. The smartphone additionally has an Infrared (IR) blaster to offer universal remote control functionality through pre-installed Peel Smart Remote app.

The Karbonn Titanium MachFive has dual-SIM card support along with dual-standby technology and has 3G network access. It packs a 2,200mAh battery.

With White-Blue and Champagne color options, the Karbonn Titanium MachFive will be available for purchase through Amazon India’s site starting today.
