Karbonn Quattro L50 HD with 5-inch display launched for Rs. 7,990

Karbonn today announced the launch of the Quattro L50 HD in India with a price tag of Rs. 7,990. The new smartphone features a 5-inch display and runs on a proprietary Android-based Kandy UI.

The Karbonn Quattro L50 HD has an IPS display panel with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution. There is a MediaTek chipset with a 1.3GHz quad-core CPU and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone also has 16GB internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card of up to 32GB.

Karbonn has proivded its Kandy UI on the Quattro L50 HD. This new proprietary interface is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, and has features such as gesture support and privacy control. Also, there are themes with varied icons and wallpapers and up to 10 menu level language options and up to 21 local Indian languages for keyboard input.

The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with F2.0 aperture and an LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera sensor. It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and a microUSB port on the connectivity front and has a 2,600mAh battery to deliver up to 200 hours of standby time or eight hours of talk time on a 3G network.
