On the basis of observations by Hamza Sood, 9to5Google reported that iOS 7 beta 4 contains a folder dubbed as “BiometricKitUI.” The new beta version coding contains some strings which confirms the presence of a biometric input support within the new operating system. The strings pointed out that the biometric sensor will start fingerprint scanning when a person touches at home button. The report further states that a source familiar with the development of the new iPhone revealed that the user-interface for the fingerprint scanning system has been complete. It is still a question that Apple would also use the built-in fingerprint scanner for a payment system or just for unlocking the device.
