Intex Cloud Fame with Android 6.0 Marshmallow launched at Rs. 3,999

Intex Technologies has announced the launch of its Cloud Fame in India. The new smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and comes with an affordable price of Rs. 3,999.

The Intex Cloud Fame is the company’s most affordable Android Marshmallow device. It brings features like Google Now on Tap and Doze mode as well as comes pre-installed with Matrabhasha service to enable communication in 21 regional languages. Additionally, there are custom features such as gesture controls, flip-to-mute, smart wake and emergency rescue.

Featuring a 4.5-inch IPS display, the Cloud Fame hasĀ 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the smartphone has a MediaTek chipset with a 1GHz quad-core CPU and 1GB of RAM. It also has 8GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot.

The smartphone has a 5-megapixel rear camera sensor along with an LED flash and a 2-megapixel front camera sensor. It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and a microUSB port. Also, it comes with 4G LTE support to deliver high-speed data experience.

Intex has provided an 1,800mAh battery on the Cloud Fame. It is claimed to deliver up to seven hours of talk time or 10-day standby time.

The Intex Cloud Fame with chocolate brown and dark blue color options will go on sale through Snapdeal. It will compete against the Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus that was recently launched for the same price of Rs. 3,999.
