Intex Mobiles has launched its Intex Aqua 4X smartphone in India with a price tag of Rs. 2,999. The latest affordable smartphone has a 4-inch display and is running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
Intex Aqua 4X has a 4-inch TFT display with 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA) resolution. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek MT6572 chipset with a 1GHz dual-core CPU and 256MB of RAM. There is 512MB storage along with microSD card support for expansion up to 32GB.
The smartphone has a 2-megapixel camera sensor on the rear and a 0.3-megapixel camera sensor is available its front. There is a 1300mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 3 hours of talk time on a 2G network.
In terms of connectivity, the Aqua 4X has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, A-GPS and a microUSB port. There is additionally dual-SIM support available along with GSM dual-standby technology.
On announcing the launch of Intex Aqua 4X, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Business Head, Intex Mobiles, said:
“The Aqua 4X will be the lowest priced 3G phone in a 4-inch category, making it a pertinent phone for consumers across all age groups.”
Intex Aqua 4X will be available exclusively through eBay with black color option.
