Instagram debuts on Windows 10 Mobile, but as a public beta

If you were looking to access Instagram on your Windows 10 device, then your wait is now almost over. The Facebook-owned company has officially released a public beta version of Instagram for Windows 10 Mobile.

The Instagram app on Windows 10 Mobile devices is designed to let you easily edit and share your existing photos and videos. The app has filters and tools to enable adjustments such as brightness, contrast and saturation. Also, it allows you to send and receive private messages.

Instagram has additionally provided an option to peek at photos and videos just by a simple press and hold gesture. This works similar to the 3D Touch feature on the new iPhone models.

As the Instagram app is initially available in the beta form, it would have some bugs. However, you’ll be provided with an option to send your feedback directly to the developer team.

You can now install the Instagram for Windows 10 Mobile by visiting Microsoft Store. The app is 46.72MB in size and is supporting devices with ARM architecture.

The latest Instagram app doesn’t work with desktops and notebooks that run on Windows 10. However, Microsoft and Instagram would closely work to bring its expansion soon.
