Instagram 4.1 update allows to import video from media library

Instagram added video capture feature month ago. Now Instagram 4.1 update moved a step further and allows import video contents right from phone’s media library to the social network. The new Instagram client also bundled with auto-straightening feature to straighten photos in iOS devices. For Android platform, Instagram 4.1 brings ‘Video on Instagram’ to devices running on Android 4.0 platform as well.

Instagram 4.1 mainly focusing towards video upload. With new support for import video contents from phone’s media library, users can now trim and upload their existing video contents to the social network. Beside trimming of video contents to 15 seconds timeline, the new app also supports square-crop to convert any existing video into pure Instagram flavour.

The all new Instagram 4.1 is also designed for the one who wants to straighten photos before uploading on the social network. The new app for iOS platform bundled with auto-straightening feature which straightens photos just by tapping on Straighten icon.  The straightening tool has a slider which allows to rotate and adjust any photo.

Along with some new features, Instagram now released Video on Instagram feature for all the devices running on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) as well.

Users can now download the all new Instagram 4.1 app by visiting respective app stores from their Android or iOS devices.
