Huawei recently unveiled MediaPad 7 Youth with voice calling support. The 7-inch Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth comes with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system along with Emotion UI on the top.

On announcing Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth, Wang Yinfeng, Vice President, Home Connected Device Product Line, Huawei Device said;

“The MediaPad 7 Youth is a versatile tablet that provides an unsurpassed experience across hardware and software. Ideal for young people who are always on the move, the MediaPad 7 Youth delivers on Huawei’s promise to make extraordinary technology experiences accessible for all.”

Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth has a 7-inch capacitive display with 10-point multitouch support. The tablet features polished aluminum metal unibody design with 19.34cm height. The tablet is powered by a 28nm architecture based dual-core 1.6GHz processor along with a dedicated GPU.

On the connectivity part, Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth has Wi-Fi, multi-network HSPA+ and a microUSB port. The tablet supports voice calling, SMS and MMS. There is 4100mAh Li-Polymer battery which is claimed to provide up to two weeks of power on standby.

So far there is no information on the part of its pricing detail. According to the statement, the MediaPad 7 Youth will be available in Russia, China, Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Europe anytime during the third quarter of 2013.
