A new smartphone is on the way to Barcelona from the house of HTC, yes HTC M7 leaks with pictures. The picture shown by HTC Source feisty enough to show that the upcoming smartphone by HTC will feature a uni-body design similar to the Windows Phone 8X but a thing is to be noted here that the screenshots shared by Android Police confirms that the purported M7 will come with Android operating system along with HTC’s upcoming Sense 5.0.
Starting with the design, the M7 undoubtedly have uni-body construction as the Windows Phone 8X and HTC Butterfly. Yes, similar to HTC Butterfly which means the rumoured M7 likely to have a 4.7-inch to a 5-inch display but strong indications are of 4.7-inch as the Butterfly is going to capture the 5-inch market.
As HTC usual construction, the M7 is having round-edges design and matte finishing which helps a lot in holding a large-size smartphone even with sweating hands. And moving on the bottom, the M7 has three capacitive keys rather than any physical button, the keys are usual, back, home and a multitasking key. Front camera is also present which is presumed to have 2MP sensor.
On the rear, there is a camera positioned at the top-center, same as found on HTC Windows 8X, of course, there is an LED flash also present. HTC’s brand name is written on the center and Beats Audio is also stamped at the bottom, above the speakers. But rear of the M7 also suggests that some changes might take place as the FCC certification label is not present on the back as other final HTC smartphones featured.
Coming towards the screenshots, the M7 will have Sense 5.0 UI, the user interface is pretty different from the previous versions. The homescreen shares some tile effect but on the bottom, dock icons are quite same as the previous version Sense UI. However, there is information captured on the part of Android version but we assume that the M7 will come with at least Android 4.1 or Android 4.2 operating system.
That much information is out till now, but it is clearly suggested that HTC will announce the M7 or with some other final name at Mobile World Congress, Barcelona. So stay tuned for more information.
