CES fever is on in the shivering cold weather, now it’s turn for Hewlett-Packard. HP officially announces two new Pavilion Sleekbooks for the year 2013. Both the Sleekbooks will feature affordable price tag and powered by AMD processors. The first one in the series is based on new touch trend, Pavilion TouchSmart Sleekbook and other one is the non-touch version of the Sleekbook.
The all new HP Pavilion TouchSmart Sleekbook feature 15.6-inch touch capable display with 1366 × 768 pixels resolution. The Pavilion TouchSmart Sleekbook is powered by AMD A6-4455M processor and there is 6GB of RAM for multi-tasking support. In terms of storage, the Pavilion TouchSmart Sleekbook packs with 750GB of hard disk. The TouchSmart Sleekbook comes with Windows 8 operating system out of the box.
Moving towards the non-touch version, the notebook is coined as the Pavilion Sleekbook. The Pavilion Sleekbook feature identical looks and same sized display, however, touch capability is absent. The Pavilion Sleekbook is powered by AMD A4 processor , 4GB of RAM and 500GB hard disk.
Both the Sleekbooks will come with Dolby Advanced Audio, TrueVision HD webcam and optional discrete graphics. The TouchSmart Sleekbook will be available from 3rd of February and there will be only single color option as sparkling black. The non-touch version, Pavilion Sleekbook will be available from the later weeks of January with multiple color options as red, blue and black. The TouchSmart Sleekbook will feature starting price as $699 (Rs.38.7K approx.) and the non-touch Sleekbook will feature starting price as $499 (Rs.27.6K approx.).
