Google Now brings cards for car rentals, commute sharing and more

Google today updates its Google Now app for Android devices with a number of new cards. The all new Google Now brings cards for car rentals, concert tickets, commute sharing, NCAA football and additional reminders. The updated Google Now app also comes with improved public transit and feature updated TV cards.

Google Now is one of the popular travel companion client within Android Jelly Bean platform. Now Google has taken a step ahead to introduced new cards to enhanced its usage. The updated Google Now app comes with car rentals card which provides reservation details and directions to the rental center directly within Google Now. The app also comes with improved public transit cards to inform users about the last train or bus to their home locations.

The updated Google Now app comes with an all new commute sharing card. With commute sharing card, users can notify their friends or family they are returning to their homes. Users need to switch on the traffic and enable Location Sharing from their Google+ profile to use commute sharing card.

Google Now is also designed for the youth which is reason the updated Google Now bundled with concert ticket card. Using concert ticket card, Google Now will make event ticket ready when the user reach to the venue and also provides information popular, locally relevant websites for showing upcoming events at the nearby locations. For the football lovers, the app also brings NCAA football scores live and users can also set their favourite teams to get real-time scores on the go.

Besides new cards, Google Now app now comes with updated TV card and also provides an option to set reminders of TV shows while search.

The updated Google Now app is now rolling out for the devices running on Android 4.1 or above. Users can download Google Now update in their compatible Android devices by visiting Google Play Store.
