Google has announced the expansion of Waze integration within Google Maps through a tweet on Monday. The new support allows residents of all the 46 countries to get real-time traffic updates right from Waze network. Google Maps users can now get reports directly from Waze network by tapping on the traffic overlay. The new integration alerts on road close, accidents and other incidents that affect traffic movement in the location.

Apart from traffic incident alerts, the new integration also improves Google Maps navigation. In case users are driving on a route and an accident happens on the same route, Google Maps will alert about the accident and re-route the navigation as well.

Google Maps with Waze reports recently came to web version. However, Google integrated Waze in Google Maps for Android and iOS back in August but the new integration provides incident reports for more countries than before.
