Google Keep for iOS released to deliver an advanced note-taking experience

Google Keep has finally been released for iOS more than two years after its debut on Android. The app is designed to deliver an advanced note-taking experience.

Similar to its Android counterpart, Google Keep for Android allows you to create, edit, share and collaborate your notes across multiple devices. You can add notes in the for text, photos and audio, and can also organise them with labels and colors.

Google Keep additionally provides reminders about a note based on a time or location. Also, it allows you to record a voice memo and automatically transcribed.

To deliver an advanced note-taking experience, Google Keep lets you quickly filter and search notes on your device using color and other attributes such as lists with ‘To-dos’ and audio notes with reminders. The app also syncs each and every notes on your devices, no matter whether they are originally stored from your Android or desktop.

Google Keep for iOS is now available for free download on Apple App Store. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices running on iOS 8.0 or above and is 28MB in size.

In April, the search giant had released an updated Google Keep for Android that brought Android Wear compatibility. That update allowed users to dictate notes directly from any Android Wear smartwatch.
