Google Chrome for Android updated, supports background audio playback

Google Chrome for Android has been updated to version 25.0.1364.123, the new version comes has a number of improvements including better scrolling experience with the improved scrolling functionality. Google has also increased the responsiveness of the pinch-to-zoom feature on pages and expanded the support for HTML5 features.

The Chrome for Android platform now has a support for background playing of audio and the browser also pauses the audio when receiving a phone call. The background playing of audio allow users to play audio through internet while simultaneous surfing other web pages or even switching to another app.

Besides the background audio support, Google Chrome for Android now has the latest version of the V8 JavaScript engine which results faster interactive pages. Google has also fixes some bugs and some minor UI adjustments are also being a part of the new update.
