Epson has recently launches a new range of 3D and interactive projectors in the Indian market, the new range of projectors have six new projectors with affordable price tag. These new projectors are designed for Home, Education and Business segments with next-generation interactive capabilities. The range include the EB-421i/431i/426Wi/436Wi, the EH-TW550 and the EB-W16SK projectors with all new features and 3D capability for viewing contents.
On launching the new range of projectors at an event in Mumbai, Mr. Harish A.K, Business Head – Visual Instrument at Epson India said;
“The new projectors launched today for the Home, Business and Education segments have been designed taking performance, innovation and functionality as the three key parameters for a wide range of end consumers. The new EH–TW550 takes affordable 3D home theatre viewing to a completely different level. Epson has consciously introduced a new model at a very affordable price point in a bid to get more consumers to experience the joy of big screen viewing at home. With the abundantly available 3D content online, currently the demand for business and education 3D projectors are increasing both in the boardrooms and classrooms. The new EB-W series projectors meanwhile are loaded with interactive capabilities at very affordable price & are also ideal for boardrooms & classrooms.”
These new projectors support all 3D formats without any further hardware inclusion, unlike the ’3D Ready’ projectors which uses a separate format converter to play content in 3D formats used by Blu-Ray players or 3D TV broadcasts. On the best part, these new projectors are designed with ‘Full HD 3D Glasses’ industry standard, which means users can use any affordable polarized 3D glasses for viewing full-HD 3D contents from these projectors.
Starting with the 3D projector designed for the education and business purposes, the EB-W16SK is a passive 3D setup with two stacked projectors which is claimed to provide brighter 3D images and compatible with all the affordable, non-powered, polarized 3D glasses. The price of EB-W16SK is yet to be announced by the concern.
The new range of projectors also include four additional EB series 3D projectors, which include the new EB-421i, 431i, 426Wi and 436Wi projectors. These projectors are claimed to have maximum interactivity with minimal requirements and these new projectors can also be annotated without a PC connection.
Epson has also added a number of business features in the new range of EB series projectors. The pricing of the new EB series projectors is quite competitive considering the features, the EB-421i priced at Rs.64,699, the EB-431i comes with a price tag of Rs.86,799, the EB-426Wi costs Rs. 76,299 and the last one in the series, the EB-436Wi costs Rs.101,299.
The last one in the new range of 3D projectors is a 3D home theatre projector, the EH-TW550, the projector is claimed to be an affordable 3D home theatre projector with the price tag of Rs.54,299. The all new Epson EH-TW550 supports 720P HD resolution with a convenient horizontal keystone correction slider that allows users to quickly correct distortions when the projector is placed off centre to the screen.
