Electronic Arts (EA) has announced a next version of the popular arcade racing game Need for Speed, coined as Need for Speed Rivals. Need for Speed series is renowned among the gamers and there are over 5000 subtitles available under the Need for Speed branding. With easy controls and high-end graphics, Need for Speed series are available on multiple platforms and the newly announced Need for Speed Rivals is coming up for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, yes there is no support for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The all new Need for Speed Rivals is a super car cop versus super car racer game based on street racing. Racers have to speed up their cars to evade the cops. The Rivals is a never-ending racing game with high-end graphics, the game is claimed to be looked as good on PC as next-generation consoles. Need for Speed Rivals has AllDrive mode which allows real-time multiplayer gaming where seamlessly multiple players can play the game as a single player game. According to EA, the new AllDrive mode destroys the line between singleplayer and multiplayer gameplay.
Gamers can play Need for Speed Rivals as racers where the gamers have to safely drive their cars to escape from cops. The game also provide Speed Points for escaping from cops which can be used to unlock new cars and items. On the other side, gamers can also choose themselves as cops. Being a cop, players have to work together as a team in pursuit of racers. While the racers can choose evasion technology from jammers to electromagnetic pulses, cops are outfitted for aggressive busts with shockwaves, roadblocks, helicopter support and more.
The Rivals runs on the next generation Frostbite 3 engine, which is also available within Battlefield 4 and Dragon Age III: Inquisition. The engine is designed to provide high-end graphics on all the platforms. EA has chosen a new studio for the development of the new Need for Speed Rivals which is named as Ghost, in collaboration with Criterion.

Need for Speed Rivals will be officially launched on November 19th and now EA has started taking pre-order through its website. For every pre-order, EA is offering exclusive access to the Nissan GT-R Black Edition, early access to level 2 cop gadget technology and exclusive cop liveries.
