Dell Latitude 7000 Series Windows 10 notebooks launched in India

Dell today announced the launch of its Windows 10 running Latitude 7000 Series notebooks in India. The company also showcased its new Latitude 3000 and Latitude 5000 Series models with upgraded hardware.

In the new range, the Dell Latitude 13 (7370) is the company’s newest Ultrabook. This new device features a 13.3-inch Infinity Edge display that comes in full-HD and QHD+ resolution options along with touchscreen technology. There is up to 16GB LPDDR3 RAM, sixth-generation Intel Core m7 processor and 512GB SED SSD storage option.

Dell has provided high-end connectivity options on the Latitude 13 that include a USB Type-C and Thunderbolt 3 ports. In addition, there is a fingerprint and RFID readers as well as a 40-ton carbon finger build.

The Dell Latitude 12 (7275) 7000 Series, on the other hand, comes as the company’s latest 2-in-1. It is considered to be one of the lightest 12.5-inch 2-in-1 devices. The company is offering a new design with magnets to lock its detachable keyboard.

Dell has provided two keyboard options with the new Latitude hybrid — the Latitude 12 Slim Keyboard with backlit keys and Latitude 12 Premium Keyboard with a mouse cursor and a gesture touchpad integration. The device features a 12.5-inch display with full-HD and UHD resolution options and Corning Gorilla Glass NBT protection. Further, there is Intel Core m7 processor option with up to 8GB of RAM.

Apart from the Latitude 7000 Series, Dell brought the Latitude 11 (5175) 5000 Series with 10.8-inch full-HD display and Intel Core m5 processor option with up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB SSD storage. The device has an 8-megapixel rear camera sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera sensor as well as Wi-Fi, NFC, 4G and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity options.

“We are very excited to be launching the new Latitude range for the Indian market,” says Indrajit Belgundi, director and general manager of client solutions group, Dell India, in a statement. “The new Latitude range highlights the evolution the brand has undergone, focusing not just on performance but also on design and user appeal.”

The Dell Latitude 13 7000 Series Ultrabook will be available for purchase in April with a starting price of Rs. 79,999, while the Latitude 12 7000 Series 2-in-1 will go on sale later this month with an initial price of Rs. 87,999. Besides, the Latitude 11 5000 Series 2-in-1 will be available for Rs. 59,999.
