Apple is in rumours of introducing cheaper version iPhone since the launching of iPhone and recently Wall Street Journal reported that the Cupertino manufacturer is going to introduce a cheaper version of iPhone. But all the reports regarding a cheap iPhone by Apple is proved as a sham as the company’s Senior Vice President, Marketing Worldwide, Phil Schiller denied the news and states that the company will never introduce a cheap smartphone.

No hope for cheap iPhone!
According to The Next Web, recently Phil Schiller interviewed by a Chinese newspaper, Shanghai Evening News and during the interview Schiller denied the rumour of cheap iPhone and says;
“Despite the popularity of cheap smartphones, this will never be the future of Apple’s products. In fact, although Apple’s market share of smartphones is just about 20%, we own the 75% of the profit.”
After a long time, Apple officially openly speaks on the cheap version iPhone rumours and undoubtedly, the report will demise the dreams of many poor Apple fans who are willing to purchase an iPhone but on the other hand, does not want to spend their precious pennies.
According to some recent report by WSJ, Apple is working on a cheaper version iPhone and moreover, the smartphone was expected to reach the market in coming months of the present year. Some sources also suggest that the Cupertino manufacturer uses some low-cost material for the manufacturing of the cheaper iPhone.
Of course after denying the rumours, Apple is not in the mood to produce any cheap iPhone but on the other part, the company would introduce a slightly cheaper version of the iPhone as they done at the time of introducing the iPad mini. While the iPad costs more and comes with higher specs, the iPad mini feature lower specs and a lower price tag, so the company would still introduce a cheaper version iPhone but of course not in the near future.
