BlackBerry Z10 leaks with hands-on video, previewed in German

BlackBerry Z10 is again comes into news as the smartphone leaks in a hands-on video showing about 7 minute footage with some details of the hardware and the software of the smartphone. On the down part, the video previewed the Z10 smartphone is in German, so if you are unable to understand the language then hire a translator or read below for the details shown in the video.

The Z10 smartphone comes up for the footage on a German website, Telekom-Presse.at and the author clearly shows the smartphone from all aspects along with specifications details. The Z10 smartphone which in the previewed video feature a 4.2-inch display with 1280 x 768 (HD) pixels resolution. On the rear of the Z10, there is an 8MP camera with an LED flash and for connectivity, there is a microUSB port and an microHDMI port on the side. The smartphone is based on BlackBerry 10 operating system and the author states that the operating system uses gestures in the user interface with four gesture inputs, which makes the smartphone ‘easy to operate smoothly’.

The author in the video also states that the upcoming BlackBerry Z10 is powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz Texas Instrument developed OMAP 4470 processor with 2GB of RAM for multi-tasking capabilities. There is a 16GB of internal storage and the smartphone also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The smartphone has a 2100mAh replaceable battery which gives about one day complete backup, according to the author, there is a hope to get more juice in the final version as well. The smartphone previewed by the author in the video weighs 125g which is of course not much heavy considering the specifications.

Moving towards the software aspect, the video shows that the smartphone is capable for multi-tasking and tasks are previewed right on the screen. The web browser also capable to open several windows and the smartphone also come with several apps integration such as Facebook, Twitter and Dropbox.

Research in Motion is going to organise an event on 30th of January and the event is expected to be the place for unveiling the BlackBerry Z10 along with the announcement of the BlackBerry 10 operating system. So of course more details will be available on the event, till then stay tuned.
