BlackBerry Q5 coming to India tomorrow, price is expected about Rs.25,000

BlackBerry is set to launch its latest BlackBerry Q5 smartphone in India tomorrow. The company has sent out invites to the media persons for an event where the Canadian-based concern will launch the smartphone. As we have reported earlier, the smartphone is expected to have a price tag of about Rs.25,000.

BlackBerry Q5 is the latest BlackBerry 10 OS running smartphone. The smartphone was officially announced back in May at BlackBerry Keynote event in New York. The smartphone is designed for youth with multiple color options as Red, White and Black. The Q5 smartphone is an affordable version of earlier released BlackBerry Q10 and identical to the premium smartphone, the Q5 also features a full-QWERTY keyboard along with a touch supported display.

BlackBerry Q5 has a 3.1-inch IPS display with 720 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution. The smartphone is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 2GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage along with a microSD card slot. There is a 5-megapixel camera sensor on the rear along with an LED flash and a 2-megapixel camera is available on the front. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, NFC and a microUSB port. We have confirmed that the Indian version BlackBerry Q5 will have HSDPA, HSUPA and LTE support. The smartphone packs with a 2180mAh battery and weighs 120 grams.
