BlackBerry yesterday unveiled their two new smartphones as the BlackBerry Z10 and the Q10 along with the official launch of their latest BlackBerry 10 operating system. The company really wants to grab more market shares and working hard to regain their top position, in order to get such position, BlackBerry improves their customer support and in the same sense, the company is soon going to update the PlayBook tablet as well with the latest BlackBerry 10 operating system.
According to a recent report by PhoneArena, BlackBerry chief executive, Thorsten Heins confirmed that all the versions of BlackBerry PlayBook will be updated to the latest OS soon, during the Q&A session in the event. The chief also stated that the company tries to improves their earlier way of selling tablets and there are some plans to even introduce some specific value added services for gaining more profit.
On the other part, there is no official confirmation on the schedule of BlackBerry 10 update for the PlayBook tablets. According to some of our sources, the update will be available in the coming months and BlackBerry also have some plans to introduce new versions in their PlayBook tablets lineup with improved hardware specs and BlackBerry OS out of the box later this year.
BlackBerry PlayBook was not gained such high sales at the time of launching. However, the PlayBook hardware was up to the mark with the competitive price but the tablet does not have much attraction in the market due to the unsuccessful operating system and a few number of app support. As the BlackBerry 10 operating system already earned much news and appreciation as well, so there are some estimations of course that the company would update the PlayBook with the latest operating system.
