BlackBerry has released BBM for iOS version 2126.96.36.199. The updated BBM app brings Apple Watch support to let you receive all your important chats directly on your wrist.
The updated BBM for iOS allows you to receive messages on the Apple Watch. Also, you can reply to the received messages by choosing preset messages such as ‘OK’, ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, or even use emoticons or voice inputs to express your feelings.
Apart from the Apple Watch support, the updated BBM for iOS has iOS 9 support to let you quick reply on the app. You can now also send videos in chats or use the newly PayPal integration to send money to BBM contacts as an attachments. The updated app also comes with official BBM Sticker Club subscription in the BBM Shop and has some BBM Voice enhancements to offer an improved voice calling support.
The updated BBM for iOS additionally allows you to view, like and comment on group pictures and events directly from BBM feeds. Besides, there are bug fixes and performance improvements.
You can download the updated BBM for iOS directly from Apple App Store. The app is 76MB in size and is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch running on iOS 7.0 or above.
BBM is not the first app that has been debuted on the Apple Watch as apps like Microsoft PowerPoint Remote, Microsoft Outlook and even HDFC Bank app are already available on Apple’s smartwatch. However, the Canadian company appears to expand BlackBerry Messenger by adding the Apple Watch support.
