Archos, a popular French concern has recently announced a new Android tablet, coined as FamilyPad 2, with a massive 13.3-inch display. The tablet is running on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system out of the box and the company has announced the price tag as €299 (Rs.21.4K approx.) at their Facebook page, the tablet will be available in the European regions ‘very soon’.

The all new Archos FamilyPad 2 has a 13.3-inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. The tablet is powered by a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor with 1.6GHz clock-speed, there is a quad-core Mali-400 graphics and 1GB of RAM. For storage, the FamilyPad 2 has 8GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot for expansion.
Archos FamilyPad 2 has a massive construction of 13.3-inch with bulky 1.3kg weight, the tablet has a 2-megapixel cameras on the front and back for video conferencing and minor photography experience. In terms of connectivity, the FamilyPad 2 has Wi-Fi, microUSB port with USB OTG support and an HDMI port. The tablet packed with a Lithium Polymer battery which is claimed to give 6 days of standby time and 10 hours of video playback.

Being a massive-sized tablet, the FamilyPad 2 has 10-point mult-touch support and a Quick Stand is also available within the box.
