After a long period of time, Apple officially launches cellular versions of the iPad mini along with the 4th generation iPad in China. Although, cellular versions of both the tablets already reached to several markets but one of the most popular tech-market in the world, Chinese market was left for cellular versions of the iPad mini and the 4th generation iPad as the Cupertino manufacturer only launched the Wi-Fi version in the market last year. The latest 4th generation iPad, or we can say, the iPad 4 and the iPad mini are currently available in more than 100 countries worldwide including India, US, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan and UK.
In case you still don’t have any information about the iPad mini and the iPad 4, the iPad mini is a mini version of iPad with 7.9-inch display. The iPad mini being a smaller version of the original iPad, the iPad mini feature 23 percent thinner and 53 percent lighter design than the 3rd generation iPad. There is a 5MP iSight camera on the rear and a front HD camera for FaceTime capabilities and the iPad mini also packs with a battery which claims to give 10 hours of backup. Moving towards the iPad 4, the tablet feature same size and same Retina Display as found on the 3rd generation iPad but there is a A6X chipset for more powerful experience.
The pricing of both the cellular version models are yet to available in the Chinese market, however, Apple suggested the prices of the iPad mini and the iPad 4 with Wi-Fi+Cellular connectivity as follows:
- 16GB iPad mini-> $459
- 32GB iPad mini-> $559
- 64GB iPad mini-> $659
- 16GB iPad 4-> $629
- 32GB iPad 4-> $729
- 64GB iPad 4-> $829
Both the cellular version iPad mini and the iPad 4 are going to be available in the Chinese market by 18th of January.
