Apple iPhone SE official with iPhone 5s design and iPhone 6s hardware

After much anticipation, Apple today finally unveiled the iPhone SE as its new 4-inch iPhone. The new iPhone model is highly inspired by the design of the iPhone 5s but comes with a hardware identical to the iPhone 6s.

Touted as the “most powerful 4-inch iPhone”, the Apple iPhone SE features a 4-inch Retina display with the same 1136 x 640 pixels resolution that debuted on the iPhone 5s in 2013. It has an all-new Apple A9 chipset that is already powering the last year’s iPhone 6s with a dual-core CPU, PowerVR GT7600 GPU and M9 motion coprocessor.

For capturing images and recording videos, Apple has provided a 12-megapixel iSight camera sensor on the rear side of the iPhone SE with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel FaceTime HD camera sensor is available on the front. The new iPhone model supports Retina flash that allows you to use the display panel to brighten your selfies. Also, there is up to 4K video recording support.
