Apple set to launch iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s in India on November 1. Though the company has not yet announced any price detail of both the new iPhones, the launch prices recently revealed.
Reliance Communications (RCom) and Airtel partnered with Apple to offer their network plans with the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s in India from November 1. Both the operators have stated about their partnership in individual statements released on Monday, however, the pricing detail is still a mystery by both the carrier partners. On the other side, today PTI came up to reveal the prices of the new iPhone devices in India. The news agency reported that the cheaper iPhone, Apple iPhone 5c with 16GB storage will be launched in India for Rs. 41,900 while 16GB version of the flagship, the iPhone 5s, will carry a price tag of Rs. 53,500.
Apple has not yet announced any detail about the pricing of the new iPhone devices but considering the currency rates and prices in the US region, the iPhone 5c and the iPhone 5s would have similar price tags as mentioned by the news agency. With higher price of the cheaper iPhone 5c, consumers would incline towards earlier launched iPhones or high-end Android smartphones. Still Apple would get enough sales from the Indian market due to a large number of iPhone fans in the country.
As per an earlier report, Apple is also in plans to expand its business in the small towns and cities of India. Due the expansion in small towns, the new iPhone devices would also come with some financial schemes at the time of launch to persuade mass consumers across the country.
