The iPad 4 (or the fourth generation iPad) has 9.7-inch Retina display and underneath, there is Apple-designed A6X chip for powerful operations. Apple also claimed in the press release that the new iPad version with more storage will help in utilizing large amounts of data such as 3D CAD files, X-rays, film edits, music tracks, project blueprints, training videos and service manuals, such files can now be stored right on to the iPad.

The iPad 4 feature a Lightning port connector for faster connectivity and charging solutions. The new 128GB version of the iPad 4 will come with iOS 6.1 out of the box, the operating system announced yesterday with LTE support for more regions and additional support of downloading individual songs to the iOS devices for all the iTunes Match subscribers.

The iPad is capable of running over 800,000 apps available on Apple App Store and out of such apps, more than 300,000 apps are designed specifically for the iPad. With such app support, Apple iPad really needs high-storage capacity and which is the reason the Cupertino manufacturer has announced 128GB version of their latest iPad 4.
