Android 4.4.4 update starts rolling out for Motorola Moto X, G and E in India

Motorola has announced that it has started rolling out Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) update for its Moto X, Moto G and Moto E smartphones in India. The update will start rolling out today across all the three smartphones in the country and will be available as an over-the-air (OTA) update.

Users can manually check the update on their smartphones by going to Settings > About device > Software update. As the update will be available in batches, it will take time to reach all the smartphone units across the country.

The Android 4.4.4 update for the Moto X, Moto G and Moto E contains several stability, framework and security fixes. In addition, there is an all-new dialler and some security inputs to give an overall improved experience.

Motorola is currently giving Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system on its Moto series smartphones. Though an update to Android 4.4.3 was also rolled out in some regions, all the three smartphones in the country will directly get an update to Android 4.4.4.
