Acer Aspire E5-571 notebook with 5th Gen (Broadwell) Intel Core processor launched in India

Acer today announced the launch of its Aspire E5-571 notebook in India. The new notebook is the touted as the first 5th Gen (Broadwell) Intel Core processor-powered notebook in the country.

With a starting price of Rs. 44,999, Acer Aspire E5-571 comes in five color options and has seven hours of battery life. The notebook is powered by an  Intel Core processor U series that supports two cores and up to four threads with Intel Hyper-Threading technology (Intel HT technology) to provide an overall faster experience than its predecessor. In addition, there is Intel Turbo Boost 2.02 and an option to have up to Intel Core i5 processor.

On announcing the launch of the Aspire E5-571, S Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India, said:

The Aspire E5-571 runs on Windows 8.1 operating system and has up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB hard disk. The company is offering Intel HD Graphics in its base variant while customers can even opt for NVIDIA GeForce 800M series graphics card to get a high-end cinematic and gaming experience.

Acer has provided a Precision Touchpad (PTP) that supports six core Windows 8.1 TouchPad gestures for operations. There is Skype integration to get out of the box VoIP support and a built-in digital microphone and dual-speakers are also there to enhance the video chatting experience. Moreover, there is an optical drive to support CD-R, CD-RW and DVD.

Acer Aspire E5-571 will be available in India starting today with Titanium Silver, Midnight Black, Tiger’s Eye Brown, Sapphire Blue and Garnet Red color options.
